# DAYS

Returns the number of days between two dates. The end date comes first, as in spreadsheet
applications.

## Example

```js
DAYS($closed_on, $received_on)
```

## Parameters

- endDate: valid date from `0001-01-01` through `9999-12-31` in `YYYY-MM-DD` format
- startDate: valid date in the same range and format

## Returns

The number of calendar days from `startDate` to `endDate`. The result is negative when `endDate` is
earlier. Returns `null` when either argument is blank. A malformed date raises a calculation error.
