React and Vite starter troubleshooting
A form route says the form was not found
Confirm that the URL identifier exactly matches an entry in src/forms/registry.js. Also confirm
that its dynamic import points to an existing schema file.
A schema fails to load
Open the browser console for the import error, then run schema validation through form0-cli. JSON syntax errors and incorrect relative import paths are the most common causes.

Load the schema and run validate. See Validate and preview.
A custom renderer is not used
Check all three names: the schema field type, its mapping in form0.config.js, and the resolver
identifier in src/field-renderers/resolver.js. The resolver logs a warning for unknown identifiers.
Submissions cannot reach the CLI server
Run form0 serve --app from the project directory. If the CLI server uses a different address, set
FORM0_DEV_API_URL before starting Vite or in the relevant local .env file. Confirm that
devServer.apiBaseUrl still matches the Vite proxy path.
Worker evaluation fails
Temporarily set engine.mode to main-thread to isolate worker loading from schema behavior. Then
check the browser console, asset paths, and deployment content type. See

Direct links return 404 after deployment
Configure the static host to fall back to index.html for unknown application paths. This is a host
configuration issue, not a React route-definition issue.
